The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing OIl - A Review!

The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil has been one I have wanted to try for ages, and I was lucky enough to get it in a gift for my birthday. I had heard so many good things about this cleanser from other bloggers and being that I was coming to the end of my Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm I couldn't help but want to try this budget cleanser which could save me a few pennies.

Price wise this 200ml bottle is £10 and you need such a tiny amount that I'm sure this is going to last at least 6 months plus, my Clinique balm also lasted around the 6 months mark but is £22 a pot! This cleanser only has a very mild neutral fragrance and comes with a handy pump which is great because with a balm sometimes I would find myself scooping out a little too much product.

I find I can cover my face with just one pump of oil and I've been using it ever night for a week after taking the majority of my make up off with a miceller water. This oil is so good at dissolving make up that you don't really need to remove it before hand, even stubborn mascaras come off with ease. You are able to rub the oil all over your eyes without any irritation or clouding of your vision like I found with my Clinique balm.

I remove the oil from my face with a warm wet muslin cloth to give a little bit of an exfoliate at the same time, I also like to double cleanse after using any balm or oil to make sure every last bit of product is removed from my face to prevent clogged pores. I use any cream or milk cleanser to do this a couple of my favourites are the Super Facialist Rose Hydrate Cleanser or the REN Cleansing Milk.

After cleansing my skin feels so so nourished, moisturised and soft...I don't find it drying nor do I find it increases my skins natural oiliness....I even use a facial oil before I go to bed (review to come) and still wake up no oilier then usual. In fact my skin has been absolutely perfect recently I've seen such a dramatic change which I attribute to the introduction of a few new products which I will dedicate a whole post to soon!

Over all this is a fantastic cleanser that rivals a lot of high end products and for such great value for money! I know it has saved me £12 a time switching to it, and The Body Shop do such great money off promotions that I'm sure you could get it on offer too. Im sure I will be repurchasing many of these!

Thank you for reading.
